The SureFire X300U-B stands as one of the most widely adopted weapon-mounted lights in the U.S. defense and law enforcement communities. Designed for handguns but versatile enough for long guns, this ultra-high-output LED WeaponLight delivers powerful illumination in high-stakes tactical environments where positive threat identification is critical.
SureFire, a U.S.-based company headquartered in California, has long been a leader in tactical lighting solutions. The X300U-B continues SureFire’s tradition of producing Mil-Spec durable equipment for demanding operational use.
The X300U-B produces 1,000 lumens of bright white light, focused through a precision Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens. This creates a balanced beam with a strong central hotspot for distance and ample spill for peripheral awareness, making it effective for close- to medium-range engagements. Peak beam intensity reaches 11,300 candela, providing a functional throw of approximately 213 meters.
It attaches securely via a T-slot thumbscrew clamp to both Universal and Picatinny rails, ensuring a solid lockup on a wide variety of handguns. Ambidextrous momentary and constant-on switching allows instant activation without altering the shooter’s grip. Optional remote switches (DG and XT series) are available for long-gun configurations. The light is constructed from high-strength aerospace aluminum with a Mil-Spec hard anodized finish, offering excellent resistance to corrosion and impact. It is IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
Powered by two CR123A lithium batteries (included), the X300U-B delivers 1.25 hours of runtime at full output. Its robust thermal regulation and efficient LED maintain performance under sustained use.
Retail pricing typically ranges from $379 to $399, reflecting its premium build quality and proven reliability in professional applications.
