Sejjil Missile: Iran’s Solid-Fuel MRBM

The Sejjil missile is an Iranian two-stage, solid-propellant medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) developed as part of Iran’s effort to field more responsive and mobile long-range strike systems. Unlike Iran’s earlier liquid-fueled Shahab family, Sejjil uses solid propellant, which reduces the need for lengthy fueling preparations before launch. The missile is road-mobile and is associated with a transporter-erector-launcher.
