The M270A2 is a modernized version of the tracked M270 launcher, designed to extend service life while improving accuracy, range, and survivability. Key upgrades include a new fire control system, improved cab protection, and compatibility with current and future precision guided munitions. The launcher can fire Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System rockets and Army Tactical Missile System rounds.
