The U.S. Army subsequently awarded Lockheed Martin a $4.7 billion contract action in April to support accelerated PAC-3 MSE production.

In July, the Army expanded the arrangement into a seven-year undefinitized contract action with a ceiling of approximately $58.62 billion, including the earlier one-year award.
